The most popular form is by having scam artists pose over the phone as a ligit company asking for your banking information so they can receive payment for there services. Under no circumstances should you ever give out this information no matter what. I repeat NEVER even if the other person on the phone states they are from your bank branch. The only time you ever should give out this information is in person at your own bank branch. If anyone asks for this information any place else do not give out any information, no matter who they say they are.
