HOW SHEATHS & POUCHES EFFECT YOUR SELF DEFENSE SUCCESS

I believe that you can always use a little extra help when it comes to your self defense and that's why I get my students to carry self defense products on them. But just because you are carring something like a stun gun, pepper spray or a baton doesn't mean your safe and can use it. Why? Because you may not to be able to get to it on time. Here's why first don't store them in zipped up purses or pockets.

Second if they are in a sheath or pouche make sure thay are slightly loose so you can draw or take it out easily and quickly. I have students come in and I will tell them that I will attack from 10 feet away all they have to do is draw/take out there baton/pepper spray from the sheath or pouch. Nine times out of ten they can't take it out on time due to the sheath or pouche being tight around there self defense weapon. So make sure you loosen up your sheath or pouche before placing your self defense weapon inside.
