WHAT DO WHEEL BARROWS & SELF DEFENSE HAVE IN COMMON?

Here is a strength training exercise you can do with a wheel barrow to help condition and give you usable workable muscles for combat self defense situations.

Wheel Barrows: Load a wheel barrow with heavy weights and push them up hill. Up hill being the key because flat surfaces don't provide much of a challenge. You will also find that up hill on grass surfaces provide more friction thus challenging you even more. Make sure you have a heavy duty wheel barrow that can hold alot of weight. Use a wheel barrow that has one wheel in front which makes the balancing and holding of the wheel barrow more difficult and more effective!

By performing exercise routines such as these you condition your muscles to have endurance and strength which is what you need in a combat situation. Remember just because a guy has huge muscles doesn't mean a thing. They are only good for show and short periods of time, he will fatigue quickly in a self defense situation.
